The construction is consistent across all seven. Every design is printed on one side of the page only, so a marker that bleeds cannot spoil a second picture and a finished window can be lifted out and displayed. Pages are a full 8.5 by 11 inches. The leadlines are thick and black and the panes deliberately large and evenly sized — absorbing without being fiddly, and forgiving for older or unsteady hands. Each design faces a dark ornamental page carrying a line of King James scripture or quiet reflection, and every volume includes a color test page for trying a palette before committing.

Several of the volumes follow the calendar — Advent, Lent, the Rosary decade by decade — so they can be worked one window an evening and arrive on time. Others are closer to pure geometry and function as pattern and mandala coloring as readily as devotion, which makes the collection usable whether or not the reader keeps a faith.
