FOR AUTHORS

We don’t only publish our own books. We help a small number of independent authors get their work ready for readers — with the same hands that made every cover and page in our catalog.

SUBMIT YOUR MANUSCRIPT

We read a small number of submissions in cozy and literary fiction, romance, and clear-eyed practical nonfiction. We say yes rarely and read everything with care. Email a short overview — your genre, a two-paragraph synopsis, your word count, and what stage the manuscript is at. If it’s a fit, we’ll ask for the full text.

No vanity press

Note: Submitting a manuscript and hiring us for services are two separate things. Sending us your work doesn’t require buying anything, and hiring us doesn’t mean we’ll publish you.

AUTHOR SERVICES (hire us)

Need a partner for the parts between finished draft and published book? We take on limited work at a time, so each project gets real attention.

Translation

Literary translation that keeps the voice, not just the words. Between English and Spanish, German, French, and Vietnamese — fiction, cozy, and romance especially, where tone is everything.

Editing

Structural, line, and copy editing tailored to your genre: fiction, nonfiction, and coloring or puzzle books. We help the story you meant to tell actually land on the page.

Cover & Interior Design

Eye-catching covers and clean, print-ready interiors built to look right as a thumbnail and sell on Amazon worldwide. Paperback, hardcover, and Kindle.

How it works

Tell us your project: genre, word count, what you need, and your timeline. We’ll reply with scope and a quote.

A meticulously arranged stack of varied book covers representing an independent publishing studio, spread across a smooth, matte charcoal desktop. Crisp hardcovers and velvety matte paperbacks show a mix of literary fiction, cozy illustrated designs, bold romance typography, intricate coloring book mandalas, and minimalist self-help layouts. A sleek silver laptop sits slightly open nearby, its screen softly blurred. Gentle, diffused daylight from an unseen side window creates subtle reflections on laminated covers and faint shadows along page edges. Photographic realism, clean and modern aesthetic, shot from a slightly elevated angle with shallow depth of field, emphasizing the diversity of the catalog. The mood feels professional yet inviting, suggesting discovery and quiet creative focus.

Publishing Services Overview

A long, minimalist wooden bookshelf against a soft, off-white wall, filled with neatly arranged spines from a single independent publisher. Distinct sections are subtly separated: muted, elegant literary fiction spines; pastel, illustrated cozy books; deep jewel-toned romance with metallic titles; chunky coloring books with playful, colorful edges; and crisp, white self-help volumes with clean typography. A single ceramic pelican figurine rests on one shelf as a subtle brand nod. Soft afternoon light pours in from the right, casting elongated, calm shadows and gentle highlights along the shelf. Photographic realism, rule-of-thirds composition with sharp focus throughout, creating a serene, organized atmosphere ideal for browsing and catalog exploration.

Full-service editing, cover design, formatting, and distribution for literary fiction, romance, cozy reads, coloring books, and empowering nonfiction.

A meticulously styled flat lay of an author workspace for an indie publishing atelier, seen from a perfectly overhead, bird’s-eye view. In the center rests a blank, high-quality notebook with a small embossed pelican logo on the cover, surrounded by scattered printed page proofs, bookmarked galleys, and sample book covers for fiction, coloring books, and self-help titles. A tablet lies to one side displaying a blurred mock-up of an online catalog, while a slim e-reader shows a grayscale book cover. Natural overcast window light produces even, soft illumination with barely-there shadows, creating a professional, calm, and organized mood. Photographic realism with a neutral, modern palette and sharp focus across the entire composition.

We offer developmental and line editing, blurb and metadata polish, series branding, interior layout for print and ebook, and guidance through Amazon KDP. Our team specializes in character-driven stories, cozy worlds, spicy romance, and relaxing or mindfulness-focused activity books for all ages, helping each title reach the right readers worldwide.

A close-up, photorealistic view of an open trade paperback resting on a rich walnut table, its pages spread in a gentle arc. On the left page, a tastefully designed self-help chapter heading appears in clean serif type, while the right page shows dense, elegant literary prose. Several other closed books lie around it: a cozy illustrated cover with a teacup and cottage, a bold dark romance cover with minimal imagery, and a thick coloring book displaying intricate line art on its exposed edge. Warm, indirect lamp light falls from the top left, creating cozy, focused shadows and a calm, contemplative mood. Shot at eye level with shallow depth of field, emphasizing texture of paper, ink, and cover finishes.
